Rental Kit Check

Practical guide

Build an event rental kit from inventory rows

Rental Kit Check starts with the proposed kit. Keep one inventory row per item so quantity, rate, and bundle reporting remain easy to inspect.

Define the proposed kit

Required quantity is the event need, on-hand is owned inventory, unit rate is an entered planning amount, and bundle is a reporting label. Duplicate inventory names are rejected so the same stock is not counted twice.

kit rental total = required quantity x entered unit rate

Read the illustrative total

The default reception rows total 924 from 120 plates, 120 chairs, 15 tables, and 8 light sets at their entered rates. The amount is a scenario from the CSV, not a current market quote.

Changing the chair quantity or unit rate updates both the line and kit totals.

Keep bundles useful

Use bundle labels such as Dining, Seating, Tables, and Lighting to group a handoff or sourcing conversation. They do not alter availability arithmetic.

Check your own scenario

Replace the illustrative inputs with measured values and dated specifications.
